STATUS:
[1] The ocean is beautiful for boating this week. Scuba and snorkle are great.
[2] Whitewater kayak is available at Aventuras sin Limite as well as great whitewater rafting. Their new URL is www.raftingsinlimite.com.
[3] You can climb the Glacier on Orizaba Peak from here in the State of Veracruz or from the State of Puebla. The Veracruz routes are not congested.
[4] The sand dunes have cooled down. But the sun is bright, and so if you go duneboarding use plenty of sun block.

[6] A seven foot long alligator lives two blocks inland from us. Even so, the alligators in the lagoons that you'll see on nature tours are more exciting. A group of students saw a six footer in the lagoon at La Mancha in early July
[7] The Language Immersion School, our site's sponsor, has opened a small branch for intermediate and advanced speakers on a remote and pristine beach about an hour north of the city..

[9] Homebasing here in the port city of Veracruz, you can travel to
Xalapa (the capital of Veracruz, Mexico), to the major archaeological ruins at El Tajin, Palenque, Teotihuacan, Chocula, and to the states of Puebla and Oaxaca.
